ITN Productions opening new Aire Street offices for TV commissions in Leeds
The offices in Aire Street by the entrance to Leeds Station, which are complete with "state-of-the-art" editing facilities, are part of the company’s expansion plans - and the latest in a string of media production sites opening in Yorkshire.

Hide AdFormed in 2010, ITN Productions makes non-fiction content for UK broadcasters and networks around the world.
It produces "fast-turnaround documentaries, topical debate programmes, hard-hitting current affairs and high-rating popular factual series for major international broadcasters" such as the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Discovery, Netflix and CBS.
Last year ITN Productions produced 670 hours of TV – the most it has ever made.

Hide AdRumsey and his team have already secured a number of commissions which will be produced from Leeds, including a six-part series on Winston Churchill for Channel 5 as well as three more two-hour specials on iconic Britons for the channel.
He continued: “Last year ITN Productions boasted an increase in the number of hours that we produced and the opening of Leeds signals continued expansion for us – both in the UK and the US.”
Recruitment is underway for the teams in Leeds and pre-production starts later this month for the Channel 5 commissions, which will transmit later this year.

Hide AdChannel 4 will soon move into the nearby Majestic building at City Square after opening up in Leeds, with Steph McGovern's daily show due to be broadcast live from Leeds Dock.
The National Film and Television School has also recently opened its Centre of Screen Excellence in the city.
Meanwhile, Wise Owl Productions and Northern Imposters are two examples of homegrown TV companies set up amid Channel 4's move.
The company is looking for full time staff and workers for short-term contracts.
