Supermarket chain Morrisons is extending its 10 per cent discount for NHS workers, which was first introduced in April.
The aim is to support over a million staff through the winter, as a way of saying thank you for their continuous hard work throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Where can the discount be used?
NHS workers can use the NHS Heroes discount in all Morrisons stores in the UK, as well as on home delivery orders through the supermarket’s website.
David Potts, Morrisons Chief Executive said, “We want to continue to support all those in the National Health Service and show our appreciation for the fearless work they undertake daily. We hope alongside our other measures, shopping can be a little bit easier for our vital NHS staff.”
How can I get the discount?
Customers simply have to sign up for the Morrisons NHS Club in order to receive the discount online. To get the 10 per cent discount in-store, those eligible need to present their NHS ID card when at the till.
