A historic ceremony took place in North Yorkshire this week - tracing its roots back to the 14th century.

But it wasn't at one of Yorkshire's abbeys - in fact it was more about ale. The trussing ceremony at Theakston Brewery in Masham is carried out when an apprentice barrel maker is officially made a 'journeyman cooper'. And it's an unusual ceremony to say the least.
