Arrest made just 11 minutes after stabbing “in broad daylight”
Three men have been arrested after a stabbing “in broad daylight” on Tuesday, police said.
At 4.42pm on May 19, officers were called to reports of a stabbing at Firth Park Road in the Page Hall area of Sheffield.
It is reported that a 22-year-old man was stabbed, suffering serious injuries.

Officers attended the scene within minutes and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of assault and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a knife or bladed article and a breach of the Criminal Attempts Act.
A 50-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault, South Yorkshire Police said.
All three men remain in police custody at this time.
Sheffield North East NPT Inspector Alec Gibbons said: “Yesterday, a man was stabbed in broad daylight and is now in hospital with serious injuries.
“This should not be happening in our communities, yet we are continuing to see the devastation that knife crime brings.
“Everyone should recognise the senselessness of this violence and it is vital that those responsible are brought to justice.
“Officers responded rapidly and made an arrest just 11 minutes after receiving the call. You will continue to see officers in the area in the coming days as extra patrols take place.
“As our enquiries progress at pace I am appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
"You can report online or by calling 101 quoting incident number 655 of 19 May 2026.”
