Watch the moment police recover stolen cars and drugs from Yorkshire industrial unit

This is the moment police recovered a number of cars stolen from across the North of England, as well as class A drugs, from an industrial lock up in South Yorkshire.

Six cars and a significant amount of class A drugs were discovered by officers from the lock up in Wicker, Sheffield, on Monday morning.

A warrant was used to search the site following intelligence received about organised criminal activity in the area.

Detective Constable Mike Jenkins, from South Yorkshire Police, said: “As well as a significant quantity of drugs, we also recovered cash which was hidden away in the premises.

“The vehicles we recovered are all believed to have been stolen in incidents across the north of England so this is a really good result for our team and the public.

“We are carrying out these types of raids on addresses across the city every week, based on intelligence and information coming from our communities. I hope that people see this and realise that working with us does make a difference.
