Track cyclist Ed Clancy is now behind an academy in Doncaster helping young children to learn to cycle and improve their fitness.

Triathlon titan Alistair Brownlee and his younger brother Jonathan have launched The Cafes are Open – a campaign to help promote those local cafes that provide so much sustenance for all those embracing the great outdoors from the superfast to the more sedate.

And now boxing pioneer Nicola Adams is proving to be a knockout success on Strictly Come Dancing with her dance partner Katya Jones – and giving a county weighed down by Covid reasons to smile and laugh.
