Hide AdAnd it is to the credit of the RBL, so conscious of the potential vulnerability of its hardy army of poppy-sellers to the virus, that it has come up with new ways for people to wear – or display – poppies as symbols of peace, remembrance and respect.
As it says, every poppy counts – even more so this year – and Yorkshire, a county proud of its military links and association with a certain Captain Sir Tom Moore, can be counted upon to lead by example.
