YP Comment: Why Leeds must be ambitious
One of the country’s busiest stations outside of London, the commercial spin-offs could be immense when it is reconfigured for the purposes of high-speed rail.

The redevelopment of London’s transport hubs like St Pancras, or the new Birmingham New Street complex which features a major John Lewis department store, are examples of what is possible.
If Leeds gets this right, there’s no reason why the whole county can’t benefit from the prestige of a new station complex which should, in time, become the symbol of the Northern Powerhouse’s success.
