Police name 21-year-old woman who died two months after moped crash near Filey

Georgia Porter was killed when the Sym Chacha moped she was riding collided with a VW Beetle on the A165 at King Hill, Muston on August 29.

She was airlifted to hospital but died from her injuries on October 12.

Georgia was from Hunmanby and was a University of York graduate who had worked at the Blue Dolphin holiday park in Filey.

The driver of the Beetle was uninjured.

Officers are issuing a further appeal for anyone who saw either of the two vehicles prior to the collision or who witnessed the incident, including anyone who has dash-cam footage before or during the collision.
