In these towns, usual charges will still apply from Monday to Saturday outside the dates listed.

Normal charges resume after December 20

The Council stresses that standard parking charges will apply on all other days beyond December 20 2025, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

All other parking rules – such as double yellow lines, disabled parking bays and loading restrictions – remain in force and will continue to be enforced.

The Council says the temporary suspension aims to support residents, businesses and visitors during the busy festive shopping period.
