Wallet stolen after man invited into home near Hull

A man who was invited into a house after claiming to be homeless and cold went on to snatch a wallet and flee.

The offence happened at 9am yesterday when the cullprit came to a house in Finkle Lane, Barton.

When the occupant of the house returned from putting the kettle on, he realised his wallet was missing and challenged the visitor, who ran from the house.

The culprit is described as white, in his 30s, of slim build, with a shaved head and unshaven face. He wore green combat trousers.
