Townville in a repeat triumph to close gap
Conor Harvey struck six sixes in a whirlwind 63 off 48 balls and shared a 99-run stand with Jack Hughes (51no) as Townville repeated their Heavy Woollen Cup semi-final win at Little Church Lane by overhauling Methley’s 214-8 with just two balls remaining. Marcus Walmsley (61) led Methley’s scoring.

Hunslet Nelson’s revival continued with a second successive victory when South African Jean Strydom (74no) and captain Tommy Roy (43) steered them to 260-7 at Altofts.
