Bromley axe Andy Woodman

A club spokesperson said: “Having joined just over five-and-a-half years ago in his first step into management, Andy has gone on to oversee the most successful period in the football club’s history, breaking a number of records along the way.

“In his first full season in charge, Andy guided the club to FA Trophy glory before securing another Wembley trip just two years later as we clinched promotion to the EFL for the first time in our 132-year history.

“Success wouldn’t stop there as the Ravens secured promotion to League One after winning the fourth-tier title earlier this year under Andy’s leadership.

“It was then no surprise that he would end 2025/26 with the league’s Manager of the Year award at the EFL ceremony.

“On a domestic level, Woodman also steered the club to an Emirates FA Cup Third Round finish for the first time in our history as we travelled to Premier League giants Newcastle United.

“The following season, there was also progression in the Carabao Cup as the Ravens beat Championship side Ipswich Town on penalties.

“Andy leaves with our deepest gratitude, three trophies to his name, and with the very best wishes of everyone at Bromley Football Club.”
