The summer transfer window has officially closed - and it was a busy one for Barnsley.
A new era was ushered in as Daniel Stendel was brought back to the Oakwell helm for a second stenure as the club’s boss.
10 senior signings were made and the Reds also drafted in some young talent to beef up their ranks. Among the new faces in Barnsley’s ranks are defender Sam Gale, wing-back Tyrese Noslin and winger Clayton Taylor.
Business was rounded off by the capture of forward Ben Hamed Touré and perhaps most crucially, the retention of Reyes Cleary.
However, Barnsley could still conduct further business. The deadline may have passed, but clubs are still permitted to strike deals for unattached players.
Here are 17 out-of-contract figures Barnsley could look to target following the closure of the summer window.
