Blackpool confirm capture of former Sheffield United and Bradford City man after Portsmouth exit
The Tangerines have become Evans’ third club of 2024, although he appears keen to lay down roots and has penned a two-year deal. After putting pen to paper, he told the Blackpool website: "It's a really nice feeling, I'm delighted to be here and become a Blackpool player.
"It's an exciting challenge and speaking to Neil Critchley he sold that challenge to me of trying to get out of this league. With the club just missing out on the play-offs last season it's had a chance to build and then kick on again this coming season which I am proud to be a part of."

Evans started the calendar year on Ipswich Town’s books but departed in early February, joining Portsmouth a month later. He joined on a deal running until the end of the season and became a free agent once again after Pompey’s promotion to the Championship.
However, he has now sealed a return to the game by linking up with Neil Critchley at Bloomfield Road. A familiar face in Yorkshire, Evans enjoyed a productive loan spell at Bradford during the 2015/16 season.
The Bantams recruited the midfielder from Wolverhampton Wanderers and he amassed 41 appearances for the club, scoring four goals. Evans returned to Yorkshire in January 2018, making 21 appearances for Sheffield United before departing for Wigan Athletic eight months later.
