Bradford City boss Graham Alexander on what is most pleasing about recent away form
BRADFORD City's tremendous strides under Graham Alexander have been underpinned by outstanding home form.
Though it may be early days in 2026-27, there are positive signs regarding addressing the balance.
During City's promotion season of 2024-25, their home form was the best in League Two. By contrast, they were ranked a modest 16th in the away table.
Last season, Alexander's side were rated third in the home table and eighth in the away equivalent in League One.

So far in the current campaign, City have taken 12 points – six each at home and on the road – from a total of six league matches.
They have also triumphed in their only other away fixture in 25-26, a 3-1 Carabao Cup win at Leyton Orient.
That victory at Brisbane Road secured the Bantams a place in round four for the first time since they reached the final in astonishing fashion in 2012-13.
They will host third-tier rivals Peterborough United late next month.

Alexander’s side have already improved on last season’s cup campaign, where they were beaten by then holders Newcastle United at St James’ Park in the third round.
On his side's away statistics this term, Alexander, pictured, whose side visit Luton Town tomorrow, said: “Last year, we were eighth in the away table. I think we'd have taken that overall, never mind just in the away table.
“But there's a comparison with our home form, which has been phenomenal for the last two years. But we won enough games to be really competitive and obviously finish fourth in League One.
“We always want to try and do more. We want to win more games and feel good.
“The desire to win a game of football is tenfold with all the feelings you get after that.
“But you look at the last two games away at Leyton Orient and Notts County and we’ve used the whole squad. The past week for me has been really productive because of how many players we've used to win both those games.
“We believe we can take our mentality and approach and our football away from Valley Parade and perform wherever we are. That’s the challenge.
“You play the equal amount of games away, so we can't just rely on our home form.
“We have to win games away if we want to be successful.”
