Data experts predict final League One table after Barnsley setback and boosts for Derby County and Portsmouth

Barnsley’s League One promotion hopes were dented on Good Friday – but the likes of Derby County and Portsmouth enjoyed more fruitful afternoons.

The Reds were beaten 2-0 on home turf by Cambridge United, who are now led by former Barnsley defender Garry Monk. There is now a 10-point gap between Neill Collins' men and the automatic promotion slots, as the division’s top two sides both picked up wins.

Derby County edged past Blackpool at Pride Park courtesy of a first-half Ebou Adams goal, while Portsmouth secured a 3-1 away win at Wycombe Wanderers.

However, it was a difficult afternoon for Peterborough United, who were stunned by lowly Carlisle United. Two promotion contenders in Stevenage and Bolton Wanderers locked horns and the spoils were shared in a 0-0 draw.

Following the latest round of fixtures, here is how Football Web Pages expect the final League One table to look.
