Eastleigh 1 Guiseley 1: Hurst makes point for Lions

Guiseley battled back to earn a National League draw at Eastleigh.

The Lions got off to a terrible start when Adam Lockwood’s back pass caught out goalkeeper Steven Drench, and it rolled into the net.

But the visiting goalkeeper redeemed himself when denying Jai Reason and James Constable to keep the score at 1-0.

A second-half free kick from James Hurest brough the scores level.

Guiseley’s 1-1 draw keeps a three-point cushion above the relegation places.
