England squad: Jobe Bellingham receives first call-up, but no place for Cole Palmer again
Cole Palmer has been left out of England's last Nations League squad, but there is a first call-up for Jude Bellingham's younger brother Jobe.
The midfielder left Sunderland for Jude – and England manager Thomas Tuchel's – former club Borussia Dortmund two summers ago and thought he had scored in last week's Der Klassiker against Bayern Munich, only for the goal to be disallowed by the video assistant referee.
But he is named in a midfield group which also includes the uncapped Josh King of Bournemouth.
The Leeds United pair of James Trafford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have both retained. Trafford, who became Britain's most expensive goalkeeper when he joined from Manchester City for £47m this summer, was surprisingly selected for England's first two matches of the season, against Spain and Czechia, with Jordan Pickford selected for the two remaining Nations League games of the window.

Dean Henderson returns to the squad after injury, along with former Leeds loanees Djed Spence and Ben White. There is no place for Barnsley-born centre-back John Stones, who has not played for Inter Milan since mid-September due to a muscle injury or Phil Foden, who is playing for Manchester City, but is out of favour with Tuchel.
Alex Scott, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka are missing with injury, and Kobbie Mainoo only returned to the Manchester United first team on Tuesday, and has therefore also been overlooked.
Chelsea playmaker Palmer was left out of last summer's World Cup squad and has only won five caps since scoring in the 2024 European Championship final.
When Palmer withdrew from the September/October squad, Tuchel noted that he "misses too many opportunities to play for England".

England play at home to Croatia on November 12, and are in Spain three days later.
