Former Leeds United, Bradford City and Wrexham defender to become free agent after missing out on retained list
Following their relegation from the National League, Fylde have confirmed the imminent departures of nine players.
Hosannah, who initially joined the Coasters in February 2024, is among those set to join the free agent market this summer.

A right-back by trade, Hosannah joined Leeds in 2017 after cutting his teeth with Crystal Palace. He impressed at youth level, eventually working his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team squad.
Despite making the senior bench, a debut failed to materialise and the 26-year-old was loaned to Bradford in 2020.
Injury disrupted his time as a Bantam and after being released by Leeds, Hosannah was recruited by Wrexham.

It now remains to be seen what the future holds for the defender, who earned praise from Stuart McCall during his time at Valley Parade.

Speaking in November 2020, he said: “He is quiet and unassuming, but has obviously got good ability going forward and in one-on-one defending, he has got the pace.
“He just needed to learn – especially as he is a young player – defensive positions at times. But as he has been playing with us as a wing-back, we expect him to do more going forward than defending, really.
“But he is certainly a good one for the future and we are delighted to have him.”
