Huddersfield loan pair return home

Huddersfield: Tom Clarke and Robbie Simpson have completed their respective loan spells at Leyton Orient and Oldham and returned to Town.

Versatile Clarke joined Orient at the end of August, making 12 appearances and featuring in both defence and midfield.

Striker Simpson has been on loan at Boundary Park since August 31 and made a total of 18 appearances for Oldham, including 17 starts, scoring four goals.

Arsenal defender Andre Santos has been ruled out for around three months with an injury to his right ankle.

The 28-year-old left-back sustained the problem in last week’s 3-1 Champions League defeat against Olympiacos in Greece.
