Opta have forecasted League One finishes for Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Barnsley and more

It was another busy weekend of action in League One - and there was a high-profile managerial departure.

Sheffield Wednesday fell to a 2-0 defeat to Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers, a result that led to a parting of ways with manager Henrik Pedersen. The Dane has moved on with the Owls sat eighth in the table having won five, drawn three and lost three.

Elsewhere in the division, Huddersfield Town were 2-1 victors over Wigan Athletic and Barnsley’s woes continued as they lost 2-1 to Reading.

Bradford City produced a strong performance but could only manage a goalless draw at Oxford United, while Luton Town edged past Leicester City.

Mansfield Town completed a 4-1 rout of Blackpool, Bromley shared the spoils with Peterborough United and Burton Albion saw off Leyton Orient.

Plymouth Argyle emerged from a five-goal thriller against Cambridge United as victors, AFC Wimbledon drew with Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage were beaten by Milton Keynes Dons.

Following the latest twists and turns, Opta have deployed their supercomputer to predict how the League One table will look at the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
