Leeds United 'targeting' £26m Wolves star Ladislav Krejčí with summer transfer window looming
Leeds United linked with £26m-rated Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ladislav Krejčí
Leeds United are reportedly targeting Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ladislav Krejčí.
The 27-year-old got a taste of Elland Road at the weekend, completing 75 minutes as Wolves were beaten 3-0 by Daniel Farke’s side.
A Czech Republic international, Krejčí is on loan at Molineux from Spanish side Girona having completed a switch last summer.

Wolves negotiated a deal that would see the centre-back become a permanent member of the squad for a fee of £26m upon the meeting of certain clauses.
However, with the Midlands club heading towards relegation from the Premier League, doubts over his future have emerged.
Leeds United linked with Wolves star
According to the Express & Star, Leeds have opened talks with intermediaries over a potential move for the highly-rated defender.
The Whites have raced eight points clear of the relegation zone and could offer Krejčí a chance to remain in the top flight.
Interest from Leeds has been described as strong and it now remains to be seen whether it will be maintained into the summer transfer window.
Leeds United’s centre-back department
Leeds have Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw in their centre-back department, having added the latter pair last summer.
Ethan Ampadu can also operate there and James Justin has thrived on the right-hand side of a central back three of late.

However, increased depth could prove beneficial and there has been talk of interest from rivals in Struijk. The 26-year-old has spent the entirety of senior career on the books at Elland Road but has been linked with Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
With survival not yet secured, the Whites cannot afford to think too far ahead. However, they must also have plans in place for summer business to ensure they can hit the ground running.
