Andy Gray in training back at Leeds

STRIKER Andy Gray is training with Leeds United, the club he began his career with 17 years ago.

Released by Barnsley in the summer, the 34-year-old was expected to join Bradford City, whom he scored 20 goals for in 77 appearances from 2002-04. Instead, Gray has returned to Elland Road with a view to joining on a free transfer.

Leeds manager Neil Warnock said: “Andy asked if he could come and train with us and we have allowed him to do that. We will take a look at him and see how it goes.”
