Leeds United boss Daniel Farke's positive message regarding duo plus Noah Okafor 'joke'
LEEDS United manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that deadline-day arrivals Jean-Matteo Bahoya and Melvin Bard could be involved in Saturday's Premier League encounter at Brighton.
Eintracht Frankfurt forward Bahoya has arrived on a season-long loan costing £1.7million with the option of a £19.7m transfer - plus up to £4.3m of add-ons.
Nice defender Bard has joined on an initial loan with an option to make the deal permanent - the final two incoming moves in a 'very decent' summer window, according to Farke.
Bard provides cover for first-choice left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson, who returned to the bench for last weekend's game with Brentford following a thigh issue. He was an unused substitute.

Farke said: "Yes they are eligible. They have trained with us and depending on the next days, there is a chance for them to be in the squad.
"They are good players. Melvin is experienced at a really good level, with many games in Ligue 1.
"He is the left-back cover we needed and a very good age.
"Jean-Matteo is a young prospect with a very great character and is very quick with lots of potential. He's very young, so he's in a different role compared to Melvin, who is more senior and experienced. But I am pleased both are with us."

One player definitely not involved is defender Joe Rodon, who is out for eight to weeks with a significant hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Farke stressed that the future of Swiss forward Noah Okafor was not 'even a topic' on deadline day, amid surprise late interest from Premier League rivals Sunderland and added that he was not aware of any bid either.
He continued: "He is one of our key players in our offence, why would we even think about letting him go? For us, it wasn't even a mention to myself from key people because it would be a joke to get rid of Noah."
