The curtain has come down on an enthralling 2025/26 Premier League season.

Manchester City fought valiantly but were pipped to the post in the title race by Arsenal, who were crowned champions for the first time since 2004.

Pep Guardiola’s men had to settle for second, while Manchester United and Aston Villa completed the top four. Liverpool, AFC Bournemouth, Sunderland and Brighton & Hove Albion grabbed European places, with the likes of Brentford and Chelsea missing out.

Down at the bottom, Burnley made an immediate return to the Championship a year on from their promotion. They will be joined in the second tier by West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, who saw their lengthy spells in the top flight come to an end.

Tottenham Hotspur narrowly avoided the drop, while Leeds United and Nottingham Forest managed to steer clear when it came to the crunch.

There were varying levels of success across the division, but all clubs retained the support of loyal fans.

Following the end of the campaign, here is the final Premier League average attendance table courtesy of Transfermarkt data.
