Johansson, who has been capped by his country at under-21 level, was released by the Foxes at the start of the summer, despite playing in all but five of the Under-23s’ Premier League 2 fixtures since his arrival. The keeper impressing as Leicester competed at the top in both seasons.

Following his release, the free agent headed back to his homeland, but has now made a quick return to England with the Millers.

Johansson's signing follows the arrival of Chelsea loan keeper Jamal Blackman, who recently joined on a season-long loan - with veteran custodian Lewis Price being the other senior keeper on the club's books.

Speaking about his move, he said: “I’m delighted, it’s a great club and I’ve heard loads of good things about it, so I’m very happy to be here.

“I’m very excited, both guys (Jamal Blackman and Lewis Price) are awesome, it’s a great training group with a lot of experience, especially with Pricey who has been in the game for a very long time, I’m looking forward to working with them.”

Johansson is the club's sixth signing of the window following on from the captures of Blackman, Kieran Sadlier, Mickel Miller, Wes Harding and Angus MacDonald.
