Liam Palmer: Wednesday’s Mr Reliable. Came back into the side at right-back and put in a good shift. Denied Scott Hogan with a superb late clearance. 7

Tom Lees: Missed a golden chance to score in first half, shooting straight at the goalkeeper. 6

Chey Dunkley: Solid at the back, and looks a really good addition to the Owls this season. Sacrificed late on as the Owls chased an equaliser. 6

Kadeem Harris: Wednesday’s best outlet in midfielder, never afraid to take his marker on. 7

Sam Hutchinson: Sat in midfield, provided a defensive screen for the Owls. 6

Liam Shaw: Booked in the first half for a late challenge, the teenager struggled to make an impact. Silly tackle saw him red carded on 50 minutes. 4

Barry Bannan: Had a tame first-half header – if that had gone it would been a collecter’s item. 6

Matt Penney: Brought in as left-back, the Owls Aacademy youngster had a decent game. 6
