The Championship's 19 most valuable players including Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Watford, Norwich City and Bristol City stars

Market values are thrust into the spotlight during transfer windows.

As clubs reshape their squads ahead of a new campaign, every transfer fee and reported wage is scrutinised as fans decide whether their club is getting value for money.

The step up from the Championship to the Premier League is a significant one but there is a long list of players plucked from the second tier who have enjoyed top tier success.
