Keith Lowe scored a late leveller as York drew for the fourth successive League Two game in a row.
Nigel Worthington’s side looked like their run of draws to start the season had come to an end in Devon when David Wheeler’s eighth-minute header went unanswered.
But as has been customary in York’s games this season, there was late drama as Lowe pounced with a close-range header eight minutes from time.
