McDonnell's European defence headlines Dome extravaganza

EUROPEAN boxing champion Jamie McDonnell is the headline act in a 13-fight extravaganza taking place in Doncaster next Saturday.

The Doncaster fighter will make the second defence of the bantamweight title he won in March last year, by knocking out then champion Jerome Arnold in the 10th round, when he faces Stephane Jamoye.

The 21-year-old from Belgium, who has a record of one defeat in 20 fights, has been touted as a future world champion and will be McDonnell's toughest opponenet yet.

McDonnell has 15 wins in 18 bouts, including one draw.
