Morris-Baumber last competed at the Bramham International Horse Trials back in 2010 and, three years on, the Yorkshire ace is succeeding both as a trainer and rider in her own right.

Morris-Baumber finished fourth in a Belsay Novice on the Rachael Blueman-owned Wikefield Valhalla and two of her pupils at her Everingham yard where she teaches finished sixth and eighth.

Natalie Hardstaff was sixth on Robin VI in a BE100 section and Georgia Dukes eighth in a BE100 Open on Shannon Dales Skatman, who belongs to Morris-Baumber, who previously evented to three-star level.

Morris-Baumber won team bronze on Shannon Dales Skatman in the 2009 CIC three-star Europeans.

The horse is now being a school master for Dukes in her first season BE eventing.

Delighted Morris-Baumber enthused: “We had a fantastic weekend at Belsay.

“Natalie and Georgia are both based here at my yard and I train them on their own horses and under my guidance they have progressed fantastically well.

“We all are part of a team and we all got to the same events and I am always there to help at the competitions as well as providing training at home.

“We have a real team mentality and we all get together and watch the videos after the events looking at where we could improve and which bits were good and learning from each other.

“I absolutely love training other riders and we are all Yorkshire girls who are passionate about our sport.

“The fact that we are all coming from the same yard and all training together adds to the significance of the results.

“We have excellent facilities at our yard such as the floodlit Martin Collins arena, a cross country training field, a lunge pen and a grass dressage arena.

“I am always happy to take on new clients for training. I am also very grateful to my sponsors, Equestrian Clearance.com.”

Morris-Baumber is also hopeful that her own days at Bramham have not yet come to an end.

She was 36th in the CIC three-star in 2009 and 24th in the U25 championships in 2010 – both when riding Sultao De Valada.

The Pocklington ace added: “I am aiming to be back at Bramham next year with either Wikefiled Valhalla or Olympic Belle, who has had some excellent results this spring.”
