Adam Clune and Tui Lolohea among frontline players on Huddersfield Giants' departure list

Adam Clune and Tui Lolohea are among the Huddersfield Giants players preparing to bid farewell after Saturday's final game of the season against Castleford Tigers.

Clune was handed the captaincy at the start of the year but he has made just 42 appearances during an injury-hit three-year stay.

Half-back partner Lolohea, meanwhile, brings the curtain down on a five-season spell that has seen him play over 120 games.

Taane Milne is another regular on his way out of the club, together with Jacob Gagai whose move to Warrington Wolves has already been confirmed.

Matty English has signed for York Knights, while Kieran Rush is also ending his long association with the Giants.

Monty Lumb, Tom Hardy and Zach Brown are the other players on Huddersfield's departure list.

Giants director of rugby Andy Kelly said: "All the players on the list have contributed over and above at times for the Huddersfield Giants.

"Their contributions on and off the field have got us to a transitional period for the club. We are grateful for their professionalism and dedication.

"Now, as is the nature of rugby league, some players will be leaving and that periodically is part of the sport we play in. We wish every player the very best for their futures wherever they go and whatever they do."
