Kat has established herself as one of the hardest working and talented Soul/Jazz performers in her field.

Jools Holland, who she supported on his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra tour, describes her as 'A fabulous vocal talent".

Having also toured the UK/EU supporting the likes of Paul Carrack, The Teskey Brothers, Marc Broussard and Mamas Gun, alongside selling out multiple headline shows, she has co-written with the likes of Caro Emerald, Ruby Turner and Roberta Campos, breaking through to new territories via national radio play worldwide,

After the success of debut album Talk To Me, Kat has now released her heavily anticipated second album, Honestly.

Armed with fresh original material, her own arrangements of songs by Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Ray Charles and Nina Simone and a band behind her that have played with the likes of Tom Jones, Van Morrison, Amy Winehouse and Gregory Porter, Kat Eaton’s live show is world class, raw and spell-binding.

The tour includes a homecoming birthday party at Sheffield Yellow Arch Studios on June 28.

That's where it all began for the Sheffield raised singer.

Aged 16, she joined a band with Silverdale School pupil Nick, now her husband, and they took part in and won a Battle of the Bands contest - the prize was a recording session at Yellow Arch. That was 21 years ago.

She was also inspired by Sheffield blues guitar legend, the late, great Frank White. With her dad she watch him play live and she's included a  track about that.

Smoky-voiced singer Kat said: "We've been busy - moving back up North and recording the album in our home studio in Dronfield, including a track about Frank White and The New Barrack Tavern.

"It's also mine and Nick's joint birthday when we play Sheffield, so it's set to be a huge party!”
