'A proper party': Pierce Brosnan among the stars of Burberry's new Christmas advert
Mobland actor Pierce Brosnan is among the stars of Burberry’s Christmas advert.
The former James Bond star is among the famous faces to appear in Burberry’s 2026 holiday campaign, which is entitled Wrapped in Burberry: Celebrating 170 Years.
A Burberry spokesperson said: “Directed by acclaimed filmmaker and artist Harmony Korine, the film offers a playful take on a traditional British Christmas gathering. Set at Longleat House in Wiltshire, the historic seat of the Marquess of Bath, it stars Pierce Brosnan and Fiona Shaw, who welcome friends from the worlds of film, fashion and sport, including Cara Delevingne, Dylan Brosnan, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Kim Min-ha, Nico Parker and Wu Lei.
“The story moves from golf buggy races and brisk country walks to party games and exchanging gifts, culminating in a glamorous party beneath an oversized disco ball – with a cameo from Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath.

“As the disco classic ‘Do You Wanna Funk?’ by Sylvester and Patrick Cowley plays, even Pierce Brosnan takes to the dance floor. By the final scene, Fiona Shaw is sofa-bound, reflecting on a memorable night.”
Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer, said: “We wanted to celebrate 170 years of Burberry with a proper party. Family, friends, great gifts and everyone dressed up.”
Burberry employs hundreds of staff across its Yorkshire manufacturing sites in Castleford and Keighley and its Leeds office. It is in the process of renovating its Castleford facility in West Yorkshire, which it has described as reinforcing its commitment to making trench coats in the UK and preserving British craftsmanship.
Meanwhile, Mr Lee is originally from Yorkshire and last year an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford.
He told The Yorkshire Post at the time: “Growing up in Bradford, surrounded by rich diversity, backgrounds, people, opinions, food and culture, has shaped me massively. There’s a straight-talking, unpretentious nature to people up here that’s always stuck with me - hard work, loyalty and decency. At Burberry, it’s not just about heritage - it’s about authenticity.”
