Resincoat managing director Andy Melling said: "In terms of the global war on coronavirus, this coating is a game changer. We have been working tirelessly to formulate a coating that could help companies and individuals safeguard environments against this terrible virus.

"After a long five month wait for the test results, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome."

The Resincoat epoxy is a high performance coating designed for highly trafficked areas such as manufacturing facilities, hospitals, care homes and vets.

The company said the coating is "incredibly durable", and will last several years once applied.

Resincoat's Covid-19 Resistant High Performance Epoxy Coating is available to both industrial and domestic customers in the UK.
