Discounted homes to help buyers onto the property ladder go on sale at Maltby development
Jones Homes is providing five three-bedroom semi-detached Starter Homes at its Lambcote Meadows development in the village, where it is building a total of 100 properties on land off Grange Lane.
Two of the Starter Homes are now available to buy at the discounted price of £191,996 – which is 80 per cent of the open market value of £239,995.

Jayne Swift, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “These Starter Homes are available to first time buyers and current or former members of the armed forces who meet criteria. They will help people who are not eligible for traditional affordable housing but who cannot afford the full market value of a property.
“The Starter Home scheme prevents those people falling through the gap. It allows them to purchase a property and also ensures that that benefit remains in the community because when the home is eventually sold on the discount remains, so it will continue to help buyers in a similar position.
“Our Starter Homes at Lambcote Meadows are high quality, modern three-bedroom semi-detached houses and this is a big opportunity to own the kind of home that might otherwise have been out of reach.”
