Coronavirus in Yorkshire: Updated map of every case as total surges by 12 on Thursday

Yorkshire has seen a sudden surge in coronavirus cases, with the total number rising by 12 on Thursday, March 12.

Two new cases have been confirmed in Leeds, four in North Yorkshire, two in Sheffield, two in Bradford and two in Calderdale.

It brings the total number of infected patients in Yorkshire up to 27 as of 9am on Thursday - up by 12 cases from the same time on Wednesday.

Here is an updated breakdown of every case in Yorkshire, as of 9am on Thursday:

Leeds - seven cases

North Yorkshire - four cases

There are no confirmed cases in Wakefield, Doncaster or the East Riding of Yorkshire as of 9am on Thursday.
