Police make third murder arrest after death of man in Leeds
Police have arrested a third man on suspicion of murder following the death of a 38-year-old in Leeds last month.
Rahiem Jackson died after he was attacked on Hedley Chase in New Wortley on October 24, West Yorkshire Police had previously said.
A murder probe was launched and officer initially arrested two 26-year-old men on suspicion of murder.
Now detectives have arrested a third man, aged 39, also on suspicion of murder.
One of the 26-year-olds - Michael Gyedu, of Rathmell Road, whose self-defined ethnicity is listed as 'Any Other Black' - appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court on November 2.
The other 26-year-old man has been released under investigation.
In a tribute, released last week, Raheim’s family said: “Rahiem was loved and adored by his sisters and family. He had a beautiful heart and beautiful soul; his smile was so infectious, and he lit up the room with his presence.

“Rahiem would have gone above and beyond for anybody he cared for."
They added: “He wasn’t just a brother he was a son, an uncle, a father, a partner, a nephew, a cousin, a grandson, brother in law and friend and he did not deserve to die the way he did.
“We are heartbroken and in so much pain and have been left inconsolable as a family. If anyone has any information to help the police find the persons who murdered Rahiem, please can you come forward.”
