Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani becomes joint-top scorer for Burnley with impressive strike against QPR
A loaned-out Leeds United man is making his mark in a struggling Championship side
Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani popped up with a stylish goal in Burnley’s 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers - and became their joint-top scorer in the process.
The 25-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at Elland Road in the summer and a loan switch to Burnley was sanctioned late in the window.
He has impressed in a difficult period for the Clarets, who recently axed Nicky Hayen from his role as head coach and replaced him with Fabio Celestini.

Largie Ramazani pops up with impressive strike
Ramazani opened the scoring at Lofus Road last night (November 3), finding the target with an impressive effort from outside the box.
He now sits alongside Zeki Amdouni and the since-departed Zian Flemming as Burnley’s joint-top scorer with three under his belt.
QPR levelled through Jonathan Varane and the point was not enough to push Burnley out of the relegation zone.
Celestini said: “It was a tough game. We were very close to taking three points but when you see the game, one point is good. The team is together and trying to win games.
“We missed a bit of quality. With the ball I think we can do better. But one point, Saturday, one point today, hopefully next we can get three. But at the moment I’m happy with what I see.”

Largie Ramazani’s new chapter
Ramazani’s loan deal contains a mandatory buy obligation, therefore the Belgian does not have a future at Elland Road.
In September, ex-Whites winger Jermaine Pennant said: “He can [prove Leeds wrong]. I think he was very important in the Championship run when he was there. He’s a decent player, a good player, and he just needed game time.
“It’s very difficult when you haven’t got bags and bags of game time to really get into a rhythm. We all need that. It doesn’t matter how good you are - if you’re playing little dribs and drabs of games here and there, you’re not going to be at your peak. You need continuity of games.
“With a new lease of life and a fresh start, playing week in, week out, I’m sure he can prove the doubters wrong at Leeds and go, ‘Look, this is what you maybe could have had’. But Leeds have got top players as well now, and they’ve invested well.”
