Leeds Bradford Airport warns travellers over rogue parking operators
Leeds Bradford Airport has issued a warning to passengers after reports of rogue third-party parking operators allegedly damaging vehicles and failing to return cars on time.
The airport said it had received an increasing number of complaints about unlicensed “Meet & Greet” parking services operating from its free one-hour parking zone.
Leeds Bradford Airport said no legitimate parking providers operate from the area and described the activity as illegal.

According to the airport, customers have reported a range of issues involving the operators, including damage to vehicles, excessive mileage being added to cars and delays in vehicles being returned.
Passengers have also allegedly been asked to travel to remote warehouse locations or use taxis between storage sites and the airport.
Other complaints included additional penalty charges, unauthorised use of vehicles and cars allegedly being driven without appropriate insurance.
The airport urged travellers to carefully research parking providers before handing over their vehicles.
Passengers who believe they may have been affected have been advised to contact Trading Standards and the police.
