A magical festive kingdom featuring 12 themed wonders is coming to Harrogate this December, promising an unforgettable experience for families across Yorkshire.

It sounds like something straight from a festive fairytale.

But this December, that world is coming to Yorkshire.

Santa's Polar Kingdom, a brand-new Christmas attraction, is preparing to transform the Great Yorkshire Events Centre in Harrogate into an extraordinary festive destination for families from across the county.

Running from 11 to 23 December 2026, the experience brings together 12 themed wonders, combining traditional Christmas magic with winter entertainment, illuminated adventures and seasonal celebrations.

And with bookings opening on Friday 30 October, families can start making their festive plans.

Twelve wonders, one magical Christmas adventure

At the heart of Polar Kingdom is the chance to leave everyday life behind and enter Santa's world.

The adventure includes the Santa Express and the Elf Forest Light Trail, where families can follow a trail of twinkling lights through the woodland where Santa's elves live and play.

There's the Ice Kingdom, where visitors can take to the ice beneath festive lights, and Santa's Workshop, offering a glimpse into the magical preparations taking place ahead of Christmas Eve.

Young visitors can visit the North Pole Post Office and explore the colourful Candy Cane Forest.

But the attraction doesn't stop there.

The Christmas Fun Fair, live entertainment and seasonal music will add to the festive atmosphere, while a Christmas Market promises tempting food, gifts and warming treats. For grown-ups, an Après Ski Bar offers another way to enjoy the celebrations.

Bookings open on Friday 30 October. Families hoping to secure their preferred date can join Santa's Nice List for priority access from 7am. Prices start from £19.99 per person.
