Barnsley 2 Bolton 2: McBurnie to the rescue for Reds

McBurnie caused Bolton havoc throughout and the 21-year-old saw two efforts cleared off the line before the ball found its way to Gary Gardner who hammered home a high shot into the top left corner to give the Tykes a 22nd-minute lead.
Bolton then pushed hard for an equaliser after the break but Tykes defender Andy Yiadom cleared a David Wheater off the line with both sides also denied what appeared strong claims for penalties.

Things went from bad to worse for Barnsley just three minutes later when a quick counter led to the ball being squared for Craig Noone who lashed home his shot in front of an ecstatic away end.
But the Tykes would not be denied a share of the spoils and it was McBurnie who bagged the leveller when rising first to head home Kieffer Moore’s corner in the 93rd minute.
