Bradford City boss Michael Duff provides key updates on Adam Phillips, Stephen Humphrys and Josh Neufville
BRADFORD City manager Michael Duff says that Adam Phillips and Stephen Humphrys are both in contention for Saturday’s FA Cup first-round tie against Marine at Valley Parade.
The news regarding Phillips is a surprise, given that he hobbled off in clear pain with a knee issue late on in last weekend’s derby against Huddersfield Town.
The former Barnsley midfielder had only entered the fray at half-time as a substitute.
Meanwhile, Phillips’ ex-Oakwell colleague Humphrys is also back after missing the past three matches with a back problem sustained in the second half of the game at Burton Albion on October 20.

On Phillips, Duff said: "It's a weird one with Adam. He's fit.
"He trained Wednesday and he trained today.
"They (medics) think it was more of a nerve thing, like a knee-on-knee contact, which was the pleasing thing after the game.
"I said, without knowing anything, it was a contact rather than a twist.

"You think he's going to be out for weeks, but once the nerve-feeling sensation has settled down, he's absolutely fine.
"Humphs is back involved, which is another positive. Again, he's trained Wednesday and trained Friday. So, yes, another positive, another attacking outlet."
Josh Neufville, out since with a hamstring injury, is back in full team training in what represents another boost for Duff.
The key wing-back is yet to feature under Duff after picking up the issue at former club Luton on September 19.
Duff added: “Josh is in full training now, but he won't be involved tomorrow.
"He's been out a long period of time, so when we drop him in and how we drop him in is really important, particularly with the type of athlete he is and the type of injury that it was.
"Again, that's another positive. The one thing that we haven't had is that, this is not a slant on anybody else, but I think everyone who supports Bradford would see the influence that Josh and Tyreik (Wright) have had in the team in the last couple of years. So, again, it’s different challenges (answers) that you've got to come up with.”
