The Spanish right-back, who has made an impressive start to life with Town after joining the club in the summer, came off late on in the club's 1-1 draw with Luton Town in their last game before the international break.

He will miss Saturday's Championship trip to Stoke City, with Alex Pritchard being the only other senior player who is sidelined.

Corberan said: "We don't know how long he will be out. Yesterday (Wednesday), he started ball work and we will see how he will start to feel.

"We don't have a clear date, but it's a positive that he's on the pitch making runs and touching the ball.

"We have players ready to cover the position in Demeaco Duhaney and Aaron Rowe and even (Richard) Stearman who has played there before.

"Alex Pritchard is continuing his adaptation and preparation in his rehabilitation period. He is in the last part of his rehab and he will continue to be (working) with the medical department and is not training with the group."

Naby Sarr and Juninho Bacuna have returned from international duty with Senegal and Curacao respectively and are in the squad for the weekend trip to the Potteries.

Corberan added: "There are no injuries with both players. They did not play any minutes with their international teams and Bacuna's (country) did not have any games; it was more like a training camp.

"Sarr did not play in any games that his country played in, so both players arrived here fit a couple of days ago and returned to training today (Thursday).

"Pipa is in the same situation. He couldn't train with the rest of the squad.

"The only injuries we have are Pritchard and Pipa."
