Former Huddersfield Town and Portsmouth midfielder 'having medical' ahead of Chelsea exit
The midfielder was once considered among Chelsea’s most exciting prospects and made his Premier League debut in March 2020, at the age of just 18. Loan spells at Lokomotiv Moscow, Huddersfield and Portsmouth followed but failed to convince Chelsea of his first-team potential.

The Serie A side finished 17th in the Italian top flight last season. A deal is believed to have been agreed that will see Chelsea earn half of any fee Empoli pocket for Anjorin in the future.
The former England youth international joined Huddersfield in January 2022, linking up with the Terriers for the remainder of the season. While he only managed seven appearances from the bench in the Championship, he showed enough to convince Huddersfield to keep him for the 2022/23 campaign.

Hide AdAnjorin started six of Huddersfield’s opening eight league fixtures in his second campaign before having his season brought to a premature end by injury.
After completing his rehabilitation, he completed a season-long loan switch to Portsmouth last summer. Although Pompey enjoyed a triumphant League One campaign, Anjorin was limited to just 14 appearances in all competitions.
