Hull City and AFC Bournemouth show 'strong interest' in forward as Celtic 'priced out'
Celtic are said to have been priced out of a move for Elche forward Alvaro Rodriguez - but Hull City and AFC Bournemouth are reportedly showing strong interest.
The 21-year-old made the switch from Real Madrid to Elche last summer having been afforded just 10 senior outings for the former.
He impressed during his maiden Elche campaign, registering seven goals across 34 La Liga appearances.

Hull City show ‘strong interest’ in forward
According to TEAMtalk, the former Spain and Uruguay youth international is the subject of strong interest from both Hull and Bournemouth.
Scottish heavyweights Celtic, who were linked with Rodriguez earlier this year, are said to have been priced out of a move for the marksman.
There is also thought to be admiration from Dutch outfits Ajax and Feyenoord, although no concrete offers are said to have been tabled. Elche could demand a hefty fee for Rodriguez, as Real Madrid are said to have inserted a 50 per cent sell-on clause in the deal that sent him to Estadio Martínez Valero.
The challenge ahead for Hull City
The dust has settled on Hull’s promotion celebrations and fans will now be coming to terms with the scale of the challenge ahead.
Hull’s promotion came as something of a surprise given they were operating under the constraints of a transfer embargo and did not book a play-off spot until the final day of the regular season.

There is a lot of work to be done on the recruitment front and reports have indicated the club are looking to blend youth with experience. At 21, Rodriguez would tick the youth box.
Hull have also been linked with veteran marksman Callum Wilson, who would add a wealth of experience to the Tigers attack. The 34-year-old, who has been capped by England, looks set to depart West Ham United upon the expiry of his contract.
