Hull City transfer challenge outlined as Aston Villa's Leon Bailey 'offered' to other clubs
A fresh report regarding Hull City-linked Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey has emerged
Hull City-linked Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey is reportedly being offered to several other clubs.
The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with Hull, who are said to be eyeing an ambitious move following their promotion to the Premier League.
Bailey was a £25m acquisition from Bayer Leverkusen for Villa back in 2021 and has since racked up 163 appearances for the Midlands outfit.
However, he has slipped down the pecking order at Villa Park and spent the first half of last season out on loan at Roma.

Leon Bailey claim emerges
According to reporter Alan Nixon via his Patreon page, Hull are keeping a space in their squad for Bailey as they pursue a loan deal.
Villa, on the other hand, are said to be looking to sell Bailey rather than sanction another temporary exit. He is thought to have been offered to several clubs in Europe, with Villa seeking a fee in the region of £12m and £20m.
This would represent a challenge for Hull, who could face increased competition for the wideman’s signature.
Hull will need firepower in the final third if they are to survive in the top flight and Bailey would arguably be a shrewd addition.
Not only is he an attacking threat, he boasts plenty of Premier League experience that some of Hull’s less experienced players could tap into.
Reports have indicated Bailey would prefer to stay in England, which could provide Hull with a significant advantage. However, the Tigers are not the club holding the cards when it comes to the winger’s future.

Hull City’s transfer business
Hull have made four signings so far this summer, recruiting goalkeeper Jack Butland, defender Matt Targett and midfielders Oscar Zambrano and Hidemasa Morita.
It appears likely there will now be a focus on the top end of the pitch, with the Tigers yet to bolster their attack.
The need for reinforcements up top has been strengthened by the sale of Kyle Joseph to Middlesbrough and the return of Joe Gelhardt to his parent club Leeds United.
