Hull City, West Ham United and Coventry City credited with interest in Southampton star Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Hull City named among clubs who could target Southampton star Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Hull City could reportedly target England-capped defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis following his failure to reach the Premier League with Southampton.
The 24-year-old, who won his only senior international cap in November 2024, helped the Saints storm into the Championship play-offs.
They defeated Middlesbrough at the semi-final stage but were kicked out of the competition as the ‘spygate’ saga unfolded.

Hull City linked with Southampton star
According to talkSPORT, Harwood-Bellis is among the Southampton players weighing up their futures.
It has been suggested he could be targeted by Hull and Coventry City, both of whom recently clinched promotion from the second tier.
Championship-bound West Ham United, meanwhile, are said to have remained admirers having targeted Harwood-Bellis in January.
A product of Manchester City’s academy, the centre-back left the Etihad Stadium in 2024 having found first-team opportunities limited. He had been loaned out to Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, Stoke City, Burnley and Southampton, and joined the latter on a permanent basis.
He has racked up a total of 132 appearances for the Saints, weighing in with 12 goals from the back.
Hull City preparing for the Premier League
Hull emerged from the controversial play-offs as victors, defeating Middlesbrough 1-0 in the final following the North Yorkshire club’s reprieve.
They now face the daunting task of building a squad capable of competing in the Premier League, a task that many clubs have failed to complete over the years.
However, the Tigers can take heart from the fact both Leeds United and Sunderland recently bucked the trend of promoted clubs going straight back down.

Regarding recruitment, manager Sergej Jakirovic said: "We will try to add better players than we have right now. This is also our job. I think the main players who brought us to the Premier League can stay. They can help us as well.
"We just have to add better players than we have. I think Sunderland's recipe is great. They brought dynamic players with the pace and speed. So you can build this type of team."
Transfer planning is well underway at the MKM Stadium and unsurprisingly, the rumour mill is turning at pace. The club were recently credited with interest in Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui, who is also said to have been looked at by Leeds, Sunderland and Marseille.
