With levels of transfer activity already picking up, here are the latest transfer headlines on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Leeds United keen on Barcelona winger

The 20-year-old joined the Spanish giants from FC Copenhagen last summer but has since been limited to a bit-part role.

There is also said to be interest in the Sweden international from Aston Villa, Everton, Sunderland, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.

Hull City explore deal

Hull City are said to be exploring the possibility of signing Yacine Titraoui from Charleroi.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who is heading to the World Cup with Algeria, could reportedly be available for around £10m.

Leeds United, Sunderland and Marseille are also said to have taken a look at the versatile figure.

Sheffield United face transfer obstacle

Kyle Walker will reportedly need to accept a substantial pay cut in order to secure a move back to his boyhood club Sheffield United.

The 36-year-old has one year remaining on his Burnley contract but has spoken openly of his desire to represent the Blades again.

Sheffield United, however, are seemingly unable to match the wages being paid to the jet-heeled right-back by Burnley.

Middlesbrough star in Everton’s sights

Everton are said to have entered the race to sign midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough.

The 23-year-old appears destined to depart the Riverside this summer and has been linked with the likes of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.

It has now been claimed the Toffees are considering a bid for the former England youth international having held a long-term interest.

Bradford City plot move

Bradford City are thought to be plotting a move to sign defender George Johnston.

The 27-year-old has not been retained by Bolton Wanderers, despite captaining the Trotters to victory over Stockport County in the League One play-off final.

Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle have also been named as admirers of the centre-back, who is a product of Liverpool’s academy and started his senior career at Feyenoord.

Huddersfield Town forward issues farewell message

Rhys Healey has issued a farewell message following the termination of his Huddersfield Town contract by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old forward endured an injury-plagued spell in West Yorkshire, managing just 22 appearances across two-and-a-half seasons.

Posting on X, the former Toulouse marksman said: “Thanks to all the staff and players during my time here. Unfortunately it didn’t go the way I would have liked, all the best for the future.”

Leeds United tipped to move for AC Milan man

Leeds United have been tipped to look at a move for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah.

In an interview with Football Insider, former Premier League scout Mick Brown has claimed the Whites have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old “for a while”.

He said: “Yunus Musah has been on Leeds’ radar for a while. If Musah is going to become available, I expect Leeds will be one of a few clubs looking at him. Their scouts will know all about him, the positives and the negatives, and it would have been good for them to watch him at the World Cup but he won’t be involved there.”
